totally amazing stay
great location attentive staff spacious room
the location was great the sao bento train station, mercado bolhao, shops. various restaurants are all super close i even walked to the luis bridge it's such a fun way to see the city i can't wait to go back there again the staff were always so attentive it really made a difference. i noticed the rooms were especially spacious and clean i appreciated that.
i experienced a minor issue when ordering room service because my food order did not match the menu descriptions on tv.

i found the staff to be friendly plus very helpful they offered assistance with directions and recommendations throughout my stay they are very attentive ensuring a comfortable experience is guaranteed.

the historic building offers a distinct charm it is beautifully maintained i noticed the breakfast room was particularly excellent it has really lovely decor and i was excited to see it offered a wide selection of food.

this hotel is in a prime spot it is super convenient for exploring main attractions i loved being so close to the train station and popular shopping areas so it was super easy to just walk everywhere from there.

the breakfast had an excellent variety of options i also had an evening meal at the restaurant the food tasted fantastic and the service i received was awesome i really enjoyed my time there and everything was so fresh.

inconsistent housekeeping instant coffee
The staff was helpful arranging transport. This was acceptable.
The hotel advertised itself as five stars but did not meet those expectations. Room service made mistakes and i did not receive requested items. housekeeping was not consistent. I found that instant coffee was available instead of real coffee. overall, i found the service lacking the standards i expect.

cold snacks printer problem
the hotel advertise 24 hour room service but one day they say they is to busy. they only had cold snacks. that wasn't good since i wanted room service whenever. also, when i check out, they tell me the printer don't work. i could only see my final bill on the screen. this seems odd to me and felt sneaky.
